North Schuylkill Highrailers  O-Gauge Train Display is a representation of the anthracite region when coal was king.

The layout is 24' x55' multi-level  operation. Our layout is currently being rewired to run MTH DCS PROTO 2 engines on our main level. This will allow us to run trains more like the real railroads and at more realistic speeds. This upgrade will also allow us to make the layout more of a interactive layout, which means for a small donation you will be able to be an engineer and run a train on the layout!!! If you wish to just come in and watch the trains run,then the donation is only FIFTY CENTS PER PERSON ALL AGES. THE DONATION TO RUN A TRAIN AROUND THE LAYOUT TWO TIMES IS ONE DOLLAR!!! THE LAYOUT IS OPEN EVERY OTHER SUNDAY. OUR NEXT SUNDAY WE WILL BE OPEN IS DECEMBER 19th 2010 FROM 12:00 to 5:00 pm. We are located in SCHUYLKILL MALL in the Famous Label Wing, across from PAYLESS SHOES. Conveniently located at the intersection of  I-81 and Pa. 61 Exit 124A on I-81 at FRACKVILLE, PA.

We recently acquired additional space from the Mall, So we are actively looking for anyone who would be interested in constructing a HO- gauge and N-gauge layout. Anyone male or female from age 16 old and up can get involved  in this hobby.
